Um, he is the one that did it. He wants to make sure it never happens again? He is talking like it is someone else.
How can a whole community say this man is innocent, even AFTER he confessed?? That sounds like mass delusion, possibly encouraged by the church. Maybe look into that weird cult-like hysteria going on over there. Astonishing!
