  1. Astonishing and disheartening. How can this even happen in a country where all are equally subject to the rule of law? Sheer laziness, gross incompetence, or breathtaking corruption?

  2. I think that this story points to how justice easily slips below in a legal community where social and professional relationships rise above all. Would we see this story in the Duluth News Tribune? And why not? How many of us look at a November ballot that includes judges and haven’t a clue who they are? Why not? The legal system becomes filthy when no one watches.

    The slander of Ms. Brown is indicative of legal professionals whose cover being blown and want to undermine the credibility of their accuser. If fear has such a choke hold among judges and lawyers and the press, then who do we turn to? Thank you for this story, it helps.
