I suspect someone like this owner may sue the City for not enforcing the ordinance equally. Riverwest continues to operate as well. How can the City defend itself if it’s not willing or able to enforce equally?
If not for the public speaking up and news outlets like this one doing some work it’s really a free for all. I would think the City would want more coverage on this issue, but if they aren’t enforcing correctly I guess keeping it behind closed doors is safer.
I know there was a person turning in units operating without permits about a year or two ago. I wonder if they are still at it.
