  1. With $50m in cash, there seems to be quite a lot of cash for other LOCs. I could certainly use 3-4 hundred thou. I couldn’t make payments or actually pay it back, but I promise to use it for all the public’s good. At least as much as bike lanes anyway. Where do I sign up?

    • What bike lanes and why do folks like this bring up bike lanes in the first place? Just shows that they know zero about most things. How about all those parking ramps and on-street parking spaces I need to pay for and also clear the damn snow for? We now have a whopping 4 miles of bike lanes and 430 miles of car lanes (actually that is closer to 1200 miles if you count each lane and parking lanes). Actually bike lanes helped fund reconstruction of some of the roads.

Why is this town so anti bikes? What have bike riders ever done against the antis other than provide a parking spot for them when they get to their destination? Maybe you should be thanking the bikers but we will not hold our breath. We will continue to ride and work for safe places to get to work and play without the need for a car.
      Enjoy your lane.

  2. Examine the way government manages finances… and do the exact opposite with your own.

It’s free money for the businesses that will never be recouped. To be fair to the mayor and council: they’re just there temporarily, so probably don’t really care. If they completely mess up their job, they’ll be voted out and it’ll be someone else’s problem. Rinse… repeat…
