  1. No. Just no, nope, nope, not even close. No guarantee of contracts, no real numbers on economic impact. What is city going to do with building if Monaco bails after 10 years or earlier? Who is guaranteeing bonds? Increased essentially “tourism” dollars is not increasing wealth except for the owners. Any new jobs would not pay living wage.
    This is ridiculous on its face. Top down development that never increases wealth of city.

  2. Not so many years ago, my wife and I sat on the tarmac at DLH for 4+ hours because Monaco Air couldn’t produce a graduated fuel stick to determine how much fuel was on the aircraft. Onboard diagnostics said the fuel load was inadequate… And so we missed our flight to Europe.
    The Pilot was irate… In 20-plus years of flying, he had never seen such incompetence.
    Of Course, Mr. Monaco never offered recompense.
    Yeah, let’s trust him…
