  1. Good work. These little girls MUST BE protected. To get past the confidentiality issue of the “confessional” I think the pastors in such a case when all concerned know the crime really happened, should lend moral support: “We will go with you when you report this to the police”. But the abuse MUST BE STOPPED, so if the abuser won’t do it then one of the pastors needs to.

    • I just found out about this article and was so happy to see someone willing to write about it and expose the abuse. My heart hurts so much… I grew up in the church but left when I was 18, along with my mom and siblings. That was 11 years ago. The wounds are still there and the healing will take time… I’m glad these girls were so brave to finally take it to police. And I’m disgusted that they allowed him back while on bond.
